6. How do I choose crystals for myself?
It is best to choose crystals for yourself without reading about crystals beforehand, so just follow your instincts and choose the crystal you like best. After that, you can read about it to see if it matches your intentions, or check and understand the effects of the selected crystal. For specific crystal recommendations, we have crystal experts on our team who can help you. Please contact us here for personalized advice.
7. Do crystals change color?
Yes, they can. Crystals can also break, and these changes may be related to the energy of you and the crystal. In this case, please contact our crystal experts to determine the exact cause and get a possible remedy.
8. What are the maintenance methods for crystals?
The following points should be noted when maintaining crystals. Avoid collisions between crystals and hard objects to avoid damage. Try not to let crystals come into contact with chemicals, such as perfumes, cosmetics, etc., to prevent them from being corroded. When not wearing, crystals should be stored in a separate jewelry box to avoid friction with other jewelry.
9. What is the quality of crystals?
All crystals are natural products, each of which is unique and has different characteristics. For example, cotton wool, ice cracks, mineral patterns, etc. are normal phenomena and not quality issues. It is these natural minerals that bring lucky magnetic field energy.
10. How to make the crystal work better during wearing?
Try to wear it every day, communicate with the crystal more during wearing, let it better realize that you are its owner, and let it help you better. Crystals cannot be exposed to water. A large amount of water will weaken the effect and need to be demagnetized. If you go to a place with heavy yin energy, do not wear crystals. If you wear it accidentally, remember to demagnetize it.
11. How to demagnetize?
Open the demagnetizing stone and put it in the box. Leave the crystal in the box for 3-8 hours. The effect is best within this range. If you take it out too late/early, it will consume the energy of the crystal.
12. How do I clean my crystals?
When it comes to cleaning crystals, it is generally recommended to clean them once upon receiving them and once a month thereafter unless one feels the need for more frequent cleaning. Each crystal has a different way to cleanse it. The most common methods are to place them in the moonlight overnight or wash them in warm water for 15 minutes.
13. How to Charge Crystals? 8 Ways
Charging in a Sound Bath
By placing your crystals near a singing bowl, gong, or other musical instrument, you can infuse your crystals with sound. The vibrations emitted by these objects will dispel negative or stagnant energy and replace it with the energy needed to support your intentions.
How to Charge Crystals in the Moonlight:
On a clear night when the moon is visible, place the stone on the ground outside. For those of you in a hurry, take note: A full moon will charge your crystals the fastest! If you don’t have access to a yard, use a windowsill, balcony, or porch railing. Let it soak in the moonlight for at least four hours. Rinse the stones and dry them with a clean, soft cloth before bringing them back inside.
Recharge with Burning Sage, Incense, or Herbs
Sage fumigation, or passing crystals through the smoke of a burning sage stick, will melt away anything that is not serving you, clearing the way for fresh, vibrant energy to come in. You can also use incense, palo santo, cedar, lemongrass, or any smoke-producing herb that resonates with you.
Charging with Larger or Smaller Crystals
Putting a small crystal on top of a larger crystal (a gypsum wand is particularly useful for this) for at least eight hours will transfer the energy of the larger crystal and leave the smaller crystal feeling refreshed. If you have smaller crystals on hand (tumbled hematite works great), you can simulate this effect by filling a bowl with them and placing the larger crystal on top.
Charging with Running Water
This method works well with harder gemstones, such as clear quartz, citrine, and others. Hold the crystal under running water for at least one minute. Be careful that the water covers the entire crystal—no uncharged patches left behind! Dry the crystal with a soft cloth or allow it to air dry completely.
Charging with Salt
Any type of salt will work—Epsom, Himalayan, Dead Sea, and so on—but most collectors prefer sun-evaporated sea salt because it’s considered the purest form. Place the crystal on a tray or plate of salt and bury the crystal in the salt for 12 to 24 hours. Don’t use this method with softer gemstones, such as pink opal and turquoise, unless you’re okay with some scratches.
Charge your crystals by burying them in the ground
Dig a hole in your backyard (about 4 to 6 inches deep is fine). If you don’t have a yard, a potted plant will work. Gently place the crystal in the hole and cover it with soil. Tap the ground to make sure everything is secure, then allow the crystal to charge.
Recharge through Breathing
Every breath we take extends our life force energy outward, and when we direct this energy toward our crystals, we infuse them with everything that makes up who we are. This is an effective way to recharge personal items that are worn close to the body, such as jewelry or amulets, and is ideal for fragile crystals that cannot absorb much water, such as carnelian and gypsum.
14. How often should I recharge my crystals?
You can recharge them whenever you feel they need it! There is no set rule as to how often you should recharge your crystals.
15. How to tell if a crystal is real or fake?
Temperature
Gemstones feel cold to the touch and quickly lose heat on contact. Simply by holding the bracelet in your palm, you can tell if it is warm or if it quickly absorbs the warmth of your palm and appears to hold it for a while. You can avoid buying fake crystals by checking the temperature of the crystal and how it changes.
Demonstration
It is perfectly fine to use a magnifying glass to examine the surface and pattern of the crystal.
Crystal Hardness
Natural crystals are very hard, but there are some exceptions. They tend to score high on the Mohs hardness scale. Real crystals will leave marks on ordinary scratched glass. If the so-called crystal leaves marks, it is fake crystal, not natural stone.
Perfectly Symmetrical Patterns
The natural crystallization process rarely produces symmetrical results. Natural gemstones are more likely to have sharp edges and odd shapes and patterns rather than perfect symmetry. If your crystal is surprisingly perfect and symmetrical, it may have been chemically altered or it may be a fake crystal.
Bubbles
Bubbles do not occur in natural crystals. Even though they are essentially transparent, they are formed under tremendous pressure. Tiny bubbles under the surface cannot stay inside. These bubbles are also called plastic bubbles or glass bubbles. You know you've got a fake when you spot them in so-called crystals.
Heat-Treated and Dyed Crystals and Gemstones
Sometimes the crystal you're looking for is hard to find in natural crystals. There may be dyed crystals available. This is totally fine if you're buying them to keep them pristine, but if it's natural crystals you're after, you don't want cotton swabs and water to take away the joy of owning that crystal. Be sure to ask if the crystal is natural or dyed. There are also heat-treated crystals.
16. What if the price of the product changes after I purchase it?
We cannot process price adjustments for previous purchases because prices fluctuate due to trends, inventory and consumer demand.
